01Policy principles
Refunds and cancellations depend on the service purchased, work completed, production time reserved, digital access delivered and any mandatory consumer rights. TT will apply this policy reasonably and will not use it to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Before payingReview the quotation, scope, timeline, payment schedule and included revisions. Ask questions before approving a proposal or purchasing a digital product.
02Custom project deposits
A mobilisation deposit reserves production time and funds discovery, planning and initial work. If the client cancels before work begins, TT may refund the deposit less payment charges and reasonable reservation or administrative costs. After work begins, the deposit is normally non-refundable to the extent it covers work performed, resources committed and time reserved.
If TT cancels a project without client breach and cannot provide an agreed alternative, TT will refund amounts paid for undelivered work.
03Milestones and partial delivery
Approved or completed milestones are chargeable. When a project is cancelled part-way through, TT will calculate the value of completed discovery, strategy, design, code, setup, uploaded content, revisions, meetings and third-party costs. Any refundable balance will be determined after those amounts and outstanding invoices are applied.
Final editable files, source code, production credentials or ownership rights may be withheld until all amounts due for completed work are paid.
04Monthly and recurring services
Social-media management, SEO, maintenance, technical support and other recurring services renew according to the selected plan. A client should cancel before the next renewal date. Once a service period has started and resources have been allocated, fees for that period are generally not refundable except for material non-delivery, duplicate payment or mandatory legal rights.
Unused post quantities, support time or content allowances do not automatically roll over unless the package states otherwise.
05Appointments and consultations
Appointments may be rescheduled once without charge when reasonable notice—normally at least 24 hours—is provided. Late cancellation, repeated rescheduling or non-attendance may result in loss of a paid consultation fee or a new booking charge. TT may waive a charge for a genuine emergency.
06Themes, plugins and digital downloads
Please review compatibility requirements, licences, documentation and support terms before downloading a theme, plugin or digital resource.
- If a file is defective, inaccessible or materially not as described, contact TT within seven days so we can repair, replace or, where appropriate, refund it.
- A change-of-mind refund is generally unavailable after a paid digital file or licence has been accessed or downloaded, except where law requires otherwise.
- No refund is due for problems caused solely by an unsupported WordPress/PHP version, conflicting third-party code, unauthorised modification or a requirement clearly disclosed before purchase.
- Free downloads are provided without a cash refund, but security or corruption reports should be sent promptly.
07Domains, hosting, licences and third-party costs
Domain registrations, hosting, SSL, premium themes or plugins, app-store fees, API services, email services and similar third-party purchases are normally non-refundable once ordered or activated because TT may be unable to recover those charges. Where a provider issues a refund, TT will pass on the recoverable amount after any non-refundable charges.
08Advertising and external spend
Advertising budgets, influencer payments, printing, media placement and other external spend are non-refundable after the relevant platform or supplier has accepted or consumed the funds. Management fees for work already performed remain chargeable even when a campaign is paused.
09Failed, duplicate or unauthorised payments
Confirmed duplicate charges and payments received for a failed transaction will be corrected or refunded. Report an unauthorised payment promptly and also contact the relevant bank or payment provider. TT may request transaction evidence before releasing funds.
10How to cancel or request a refund
Email hello@ttdesignconcepts.com with the subject “Cancellation/Refund Request” and include the client name, invoice or order number, service, payment date, reason and supporting evidence. A WhatsApp message may alert us, but the formal request should be confirmed by email.
Do not initiate a chargeback without first giving TT a reasonable opportunity to investigate, unless immediate action is necessary to protect against an unauthorised transaction.
11Approved refund timing
Approved refunds will normally be initiated within 7–14 business days and returned through the original payment method where practical. Banks, card networks, payment gateways and international transfers may take additional time. Transfer and currency-conversion charges that TT cannot recover may be deducted where lawful and disclosed.
12Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes statutory rights relating to fair dealings, cancellation of eligible advance bookings, defective or misdescribed goods or services, unfair contract terms, or refunds required by applicable law. Where a written package or promotion lawfully restricts a discretionary refund, the restriction will be disclosed before purchase.
